Í sumar bætist ný perla í einstakt landslag uppsveita Árnessýslu. Laugarás Lagoon er nýr baðstaður í hjarta Suðurlands, við hina glæsilegu brú sem liggur yfir Hvítá við byggðina í Laugarási. Baðstaðurinn er hannaður þannig að hann fellur á fullkominn hátt inn í landslagið og veitir gestum einstaka upplifun með baðlóni á tveimur hæðum og einstöku útisvæði. Nákvæm dagsetning opnunar verður tilkynnt með vorinu. 

Mikilvægur þáttur í töfrum Laugarás Lagoon verður veitingastaðurinn Ylja sem Gísli Matthías Auðunsson fer fyrir. Á Ylju munu gestir njóta matreiðslu sem nýtir ferskt sjávarfang, afurðir frá bændum á Suðurlandi, þá ekki síst hið ljúffenga grænmeti sem svæðið er þekkt fyrir.

We are looking for responsible and service-minded individuals to join our team at a brand new geothermal bathing destination opening in the heart of Laugarás. This role is diverse and dynamic, with a strong focus on guest safety, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities


 - 

Ensure the safety of guests and oversee compliance with all safety regulations.


 - 

Monitor bathing areas, locker rooms, and other facilities.


 - 

Provide courteous and professional guidance and information to guests.


 - 

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and overall facility upkeep.


 - 

Respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations and provide first aid if necessary.



Qualifications and Skills


 - 

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.


 - 

Education or experience relevant to the role is an advantage but not required.


 - 

Valid first aid certification is required, or willingness to complete first aid training.


 - 

Strong ability to react quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.


 - 

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner.

Kitchen porter - Ylja Restaurant, Laugarás Lagoon

Do you want to be part of a strong kitchen team where positivity, professionalism, and great energy come together?

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our team at YLJA, a new restaurant opening soon by Laugarás Lagoon. This is a vital support role in the kitchen – helping to maintain flow, cleanliness, and a positive working atmosphere.

You’ll work closely with the chefs and kitchen staff to ensure a tidy, safe, and efficient kitchen environment – your contribution directly impacts both team spirit and the quality of service.

Key Responsibilities


 - Dishwashing and cleaning according to hygiene and safety standards

 - Assisting with kitchen prep and general support tasks

 - Keeping storage and kitchen areas clean, safe, and organized
