Front Desk - Reception - Night shifts
ION Adventure Hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Night Receptionist to join our team.
This is a full-time position based at our hotel in Nesjavellir, working 14 night shifts per month from 20:00 to 08:00.
We are looking for someone that can start as soon as possible.
As our Night Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring a warm welcome, exceptional guest service, and a safe, seamless experience for our guests throughout the night. You will work independently while overseeing the hotel's overnight operations and ensuring the comfort and security of both guests and the property.

- Welcome guests and perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online reservations and phone calls
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Handling guest enquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Washing, drying and folding hotel laundry
- Maintain, open and close the Spa area
- Monitoring the hotel throughout the night to ensure the safety and security of guests and the property
- Cleaning and maintaining the floors and public areas to ensure they are ready for the day ahead
- Supporting the team with other overnight operational tasks as required
- Punctuality
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Computer skills
- Drivers licence
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude
- Experience in hotels is an advantage
- Icelandic language is an advantage
Company transportation is provided from Reykjavík, with staff travelling to and from ION Adventure Hotel in company vehicles.
