Commercial Operations Support (Fixed Term Contract)

Our Retail Sales team comprises of 150 employees globally, who, with the acquisition of Datatrans and Proximis, are just getting started to provide a real feel good, connected experience at world's most well-known Retailers.

Role Overview

The role is to support the local sales team in servicing and growing existing customers while contribute to the processes when new customers join. The role holder will work closely with Key Account Managers, the Sales Director, Key account Manager, Sales Support, teams to sell our international acquiring solutions and Taxfree to these new customers.

What you will do:

  • Support and service existing payment and Taxfree customers.

  • Support to Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual new business sales targets.

  • Maximize revenue opportunities and ensure business is sufficiently profitable.

  • React to customer / partners queries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Work with supporting departments to resolve to a satisfactory standard.

  • Work and contribute within the broader sales team, creating and promoting ideas to assist colleagues in the achievement of set objectives.

  • Work professionally, effectively and constructively to promote the company.

  • Carry out any additional duties which would be deemed by the manager and company to be in the best interest of the company and its customers.

Who you are:

  • Must have previous sales experience and are motivated to engage with customers.

  • Open to learn and understand retail technology.

  • A knowledge of the Icelandic Retail industry or IT solutions within Retail would be an advantage

  • Knowledge of Card Acquiring, DCC, retail payment solutions or Retail EPOS systems would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of the Icelandic retail market would be an advantage.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Must display integrity, reliability and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Communication skills: These must be experienced and strong.

  • Team work: Must be able to work with a dynamic sales team.

  • Time Management: Must have proven time management skills and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines

  • Change management: Must enjoy working in a fast growing and changing Company. Flexibility is essential
