

Chef - Tindasel
We are now looking for a chef to take full ownership of the kitchen as we move into opening and early operational phase. This is on-site full time role, Tindasel is located about 1,5 hours from Reykjavik.
This is about more than cooking. The chef is responsible for delivering a premium dining experience, while maintaining full control over cost, structure, and consistency.
Working shifts 7 days on and 7 days off.

Execute daily dinner service

Maintain consistent plating, portioning, and timing standards

Deliver a premium but efficient menu (low complexity, high quality)

Daily prep, mise en place, and service flow optimization

Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards

Ensure kitchen cleanliness and closing procedures are followed

Manage ordering and inventory

Minimize food waste and control costs

Coordinate tightly with Hosts (timing of dinner, guest flow)

Support upsell opportunities (wine pairings, add-ons)

Experience as a chef in restaurants, hotels, or similar

Organized, reliable, and able to work independently

Passion for quality ingredients and clean presentation

Understands both cooking and cost control
