

Account Manager
Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for travel? Iceland Travel is looking for an Account Manager who can build strong, lasting relationships with our clients and drive measurable growth.
In this role, you'll be the trusted partner for our key accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery while identifying opportunities to expand our business together. You'll work within a talented team to achieve ambitious growth targets and help our clients create unforgettable travel experiences.
This role is based in our head office Orka in Suðurlandsbraut, Reykjavík.
Main responsibilities
· Maintain sales relations and show accountability
· React to requests from current and new clients by building up offers, contracts and
identify growth opportunities.
· Drive progress toward growth goals
· Proactively follow up on leads and opportunities with current and new clients
· Contribute to a positive team environment through active collaboration
· Participate in trade shows and sales calls in Iceland and abroad. Socialize with clients
and industry partners
· Maintain and expand local and international network in tourism
· Track sales progress, margin and services
Required skills and experience
· Relevant qualifications and experience.
· Ability to work well in a team within a fast-paced environment.
· Positive, flexible, and service-minded attitude.
· Excellent communication and documentation skills.
· Good knowledge of English, spoken and written. Other languages are a plus.
· Computer proficiency and enthusiasm for learning new platforms.
· Good knowledge of Iceland as a destination.
· Experience in tourism sales is a plus.
