50% Housekeeping & Maintenance (mainly weekends)

For our location in SOUTH Iceland:

We are looking for an independent working, reliable part time housekeeper & maintenance person, preferably with previous experience in housekeeping services and able to use tools and machines.

Do you like to work alone and on your own speed? Do you like to have everything under control on your workplace? Do you like the outdoors and nature and to be in constant motion? Then this job is for you!

Working hours are between 10:00 and 16:00
Workdays are usually Saturday and Sunday plus one day during the week
Starting end of October or upon agreement
Long term position
In Hella countryside (20min north of Hella)

We provide the best work-views :). But this is an all-weather job with a lot of walking in between houses and parking lots, so the person really needs to be physically fit and in good condition.

We do not provide accommodation.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Cleaning of 4 lodges and 2 saunas
Maintenance of hot tubs
On stock management / report for accommodation supplies
Trash disposal
Drop off and pick up laundry at laundry service in Hella
Snow clearing with snow blower in winter, grass mowing in summer
Weekly cleaning outside windows with high pressure machine
Maintenance of AC/heater, grills, ventilation and other devices
General maintenance of facilities (repairs, detect malfunctions, touch ups, change screws or batteries and light bulbs)
Gardening work during Summer around the houses

Able to work completely independent
Fluent English skills
Excellent physical condition
Must live in south Iceland
Housekeeping experience
Able to work outdoors
Good eye for perfection and little details
Able to work with tools

Yearly subsidy for further education, language course or gym

We do not provide accommodation and there is no on-site reception.

Finding housing in the south is an almost impossible task, so this position is intended for people already living in south Iceland.
