Summer job: Customer Success Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy university student or recent graduate to join us this summer. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients to help them unlock the full potential of our platform, Journeys by 50skills. It’s a people-focused position with a strong technical edge - ideal for someone studying engineering, computer science, or a similar field.

This summer job has the potential to become a part-time job while you are finishing your studies or a full-time job if you are graduating.

As a Customer Success Engineer, you’ll play a key role in helping our customers streamline and automate their workflows. Your mission? Understand their needs and help build high-impact automations that make their lives easier.

You will also:

Build API integrations with external systems
Answer customer queries on the support chat
Create templates for best-practice processes
Support automation of customer onboarding

What we are looking for:

Proactive, independent and innovative mindset
Strong technical skills (bonus if you’re familiar with APIs or automation tools)
Exceptional communication skills - and empathy for customers
Problem-solving superpowers
Currently enrolled in university (engineering/computer science a plus)
Fluency in English and Icelandic
