VP of Engineering

Lucinity is an AI and automation company transforming how financial institutions fight financial crime.

We build and operate a cloud-native platform that blends advanced agentic AI, large-scale data engineering, and intelligent workflow automation to dramatically reduce the time and cost of AML operations.

We are now entering a new chapter, evolving from a traditional AML software provider into increasingly AI-driven operations company. To lead this transformation, we are hiring a VP of Engineering to guide our growing engineering organization and shape the technical future of the company.

This is a defining leadership role. You will inherit an engineering team of 10 and grow it to around 15 senior-level engineers. You will be responsible for technical direction, architectural oversight, organizational design, hiring standards, and the engineering culture that powers Lucinity’s next decade.

The VP of Engineering will have end-to-end ownership of:

• Building the technical core of the Lucinity platform
• Guiding the evolution of our API platform, detection systems, agentic AI capabilities, and workflow automation engine

• Scaling a high-performing engineering organization
• Working closely with product and executive leadership on company strategy

This is not a maintenance role. It is a company-shaping role.

What You’ll Lead

As VP of Engineering, you will:

• Lead, coach, and expand a senior engineering team
• Architect and evolve a cloud-native, high-throughput platform supporting complex data and AI-driven operations
• Build mature engineering practices around design reviews, architecture documentation, and robust delivery
• Partner with Product to design intelligent automation systems that power AML operations
• Set hiring standards and build a scalable engineering organization structure
• Ensure strong operational excellence across reliability, observability, and security
• Drive long-term technology strategy and execution
