Helstu verkefni:

• Stýra daglegum samskiptum við flutningafyrirtæki.
• Fylgja sendingum á meðan á flutningi stendur og tryggja að sendingar berist á áfangastað á réttum tíma.
• Samskipti við vöruhús Alvotech í Evrópu.
• Tryggja að flutningsskjöl fyrir hráefni og vörur séu gerð fyrir sendingar á réttum tíma og uppfylli inn- og útflutningslöggjöf.
• Skrá sendingargögn til að viðhalda mælikvörðum (KPI).
• Vinna náið með meðlimum aðfangakeðjunnar til að skilgreina flutningskröfur og hámarka skilvirkni í flutningum.
• Þátttaka í umbótaverkefnum og uppsetningu nýrra ferla.

Overview of Role

Alvotech is looking for individuals to join the Logistics team as a Logistics specialist. Alvotech operates in a highly regulated environment and we are looking for individuals that have a positive attitude, embrace challenges, and are flexible and adaptive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily communications with logistic carriers and freight forwarders. Monitor shipments during transit and ensure shipments are delivered to the destination in a timely manner.
• Communications Alvotech external warehouses in Europe regarding incoming products and release, warehouse capacity planning and overview.
• Properly and accurately complete all required paperwork to ensure material and products are ready to ship in a timely manner and conform to corporate policies and comply with import/export laws.
• Record shipping data to maintain logistics KPI’s and report them
• Works closely with end users and Supply Chain members to define shipping requirements and optimizing shipping routes to ensure seamless transportation of goods.
• Participation in improvement projects, transport validation studies and setting up new processes.

Qualifications:

• BSc in relevant field is preferred.
• Work experience in international logistics and shipping is a plus
• Pharma experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively communicate with logistic carriers and freight forwarders.
• Strong relationship building and internal communication skills able to proactively communicate with internal departments while working through daily activities.
• Ability to respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to review our processes and expand on current practices, determining more efficient processes moving into the future and implementing best practices preferred
