Project Portfolio Manager

As Project Portfolio Manager within our Strategy Management Office, you will directly drive the successful execution of our core business strategies.

By managing cross-functional strategic initiatives, projects and task forces simultaneously, you help Nox successfully execute business, customer solution, organizational, and infrastructure development across the organization while ensuring scope, delivery, timeline, and budget. You will work closely with various groups, foster transparent communication and efficient collaboration of team members and stakeholders towards the strategic company goals.

You bring genuine interest in Nox's business organization, processes, product portfolio, and technology in the sleep diagnostic space. You have an intrinsic motivation to continuously learn and deepen your knowledge. Furthermore, you embrace working in the highly regulated environment in which Nox operates as a medical device manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage strategic initiatives, projects, and task forces across business, customer solution, organizational, and infrastructure development areas by applying portfolio and project management skills to achieve defined business objectives and key results.
  • Drive initiatives and projects from initiation to successful completion by leading, coordinating and supporting cross-functional teams through all phases, including planning, execution, and closure. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to define a clear scope and proper prioritization.
  • Own detailed planning of key milestones, deliverables, timelines, resources and budgets.
  • Drive resource allocation and quick decision making.
  • Facilitate a culture of focus, team work, ownership, psychological safety, engagement, transparent communication, and on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and ensure necessary documentation.
  • Manage identified risks and dependencies and escalate timely to decision makers when needed.
  • Proactively identify and drive cost-saving or process improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrate professional excellence in project management as well as best practices to any peer.
  • Support, maintain and evangelize our strategy execution framework and proactively help improve it.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor or Master degree in project management, engineering, business or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in multi-project or program management
  • Positive and open-minded team player who listens, communicates transparently and acts timely
  • High level of organization and time management skills with attention to detail, defined priorities, budget and risk management
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and proactively identify and address challenges and opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills to investigate challenges and define processes with a solution-oriented, continuous improvement and knowledge gathering mindset
  • Ability to maintain a high-level “helicopter view”, with a willingness to think and act creatively and challenge conventional approaches - think outside the box when solving complex problems
  • Ability to think abstractly and focus on defined, time-sensitive business objectives
  • Strong interest in understanding Nox’ product portfolio, operations and organizational setup
  • Ability to adapt and adjust the level of detail depending on the audience and drive decisions
  • Excellent and respectful communication at all levels within and outside the organization
  • Ability to work efficiently in distributed teams across different countries, cultures and time zones
