Manager Base Maintenance and Projects

Manager Base Maintenance and Projects is responsible for overseeing and managing all base maintenance activities, ensuring they are conducted timely and in compliance with approved maintenance data. This position reports directly to the Director of Technical Operations.

This position presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated aviation professional to take charge of a key function within a dynamic, safety-driven organization.

  • Responsible for planning Base maintenance activities on the PLAY fleet.
  • Establish a base maintenance schedule for the PLAY fleet in cooperation with other PLAY departments.
  • Generates work packages for Base maintenance and evaluates forwards such to the contracted maintenance provider.
  • Responsible for Updates in the Maintenance Computer System with the aircraft data and last done & next due data of all maintenance performed.
  • Responsible for ensuring all records received after Base maintenance are filed as appropriate in the designated Records Storage Room.
  • Other projects associated with PLAY CAMO as assigned by the Technical director.
Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur
  • Five years of relevant work experience in Aircraft Maintenance with preferable CAMO experience.
  • Have an Aircraft Maintenance Technician licensee / Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Degree qualification or other studies relevant to aircraft maintenance.
  • Have knowledge of the maintenance methods of Airbus A320 aircraft or similar.
  • Have knowledge of the EASA Part-CAMO requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
