Rapyd Europe is seeking a meticulous and independent bookkeeper for a varied role in an international fintech company. The position is demanding and requires communication with colleagues in both Iceland and the UK. This role is an addition to a great team responsible for the group's accounting.
- Booking expense invoices and importing data from sub-systems
- Daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and other accounting tasks
- Preparation of accounts for monthly financial closings
- Communication with auditors and internal departments
- Participation in process improvement projects within the department
- Other tasks in consultation with the department manager
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education/experience is an advantage
- 3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping
- Cooperative with a positive and friendly demeanor
- Good proficiency in Icelandic and English
