

Datacenter Customer Support Technician
Verne Global Data Center is looking to hire Datacenter Support Technicians for daily operations and Customer Support.
The ideal candidate for the position must be curious about technology, eager to learn at place working with computers at a hardware level, and ready to take their first step into the tech world.
It is essential that the candidate has a good command of the English language and can express themself verbally and in writing. The position includes both regular and shift work.
- Provide world-class customer support and service to Verne Global hf. worldwide innovative customers and helping them with operating their high-performance computing environment.
- Provide work that complies with Operational best practices, standards, procedures, manuals, and guidelines.
- Perform regular physical system inspections and monitoring.
- Assist in securing the site and inform the Manager/Supervisor of any irregularities.
- Participate in systems development and improvement projects.
- Participate in employee training and a continuous improvement program
- Comply with site health and safety requirements
- English proficiency (Icelandic is not a requirement)
- Clean criminal record (Sakavottorð)
- Orderliness and punctuality
- Proactive and positive approach
- Excellent communication skills
