Hofdi Lodge is a 5500 square meters Lodge offering 40 luxurious rooms, of which 4 are suites, as well as a restaurant, spa and wellness facilities along with other facilities such as lounge areas, bar, meeting and conference rooms etc. Special emphasis will be placed on recreational tourism and adventure that guest can enjoy, including heliskiing, ski touring, mountaineering, biking, snowmobiling, hiking, whale watching, horseback riding as well as hunting and fly-fishing trips.
Hofdi Lodge surroundings are fairy-tale like, situated on a 50-meter-high cliff called Þengilhofdi offering spectacular scenery with unobstructed ocean views overlooking the mountains on Látraströnd and Troll Peninsula.
The lodge, which will be only a short 25-minute car ride from Akureyri, the largest town in Iceland´s northern region, will be a valuable addition to the already thriving tourism sector in the region.
