Apartment Hotel

Originally established as a guesthouse in 1984 by the Icelandic theatre director, Óðinn Reykjavík has been serving tourists and local wanderers for over 30 years. The location of the hotel is at the heart of Reykjavik on the one of the oldest street in Reykjavík named Óðinsgata, which is named after the god Odin from the Norse mythology. The street and the neighbourhood of Óðinn Reykjavík belongs to the original downtown Reykjavík, helping to characterize the city and few footsteps away from the bustling downtown centre of Hallgrímskirkja, Laugavegur and the Harbour. Today, the Pálsson family owns and operates the hotel as boutique apartment hotel, with 4 recently renovated apartments. The main objective of the Pálsson family is to create a fun, loving and relaxing ambiance for the guests and assist in any way possible to make their stay in Iceland as good as it gets! Each apartment accommodates minimum 6 persons, up to 10 persons at the most. The hidden gem at the hotel is the penthouse apartment, a 100 sq. Meters, 4-room luxury suite with 2 bathrooms and amazing view over the city, where guests can even spot the Snæfellsnes Glacier when the skies are clear!
