Two positions open: Chef/ kitchen helper+breakfast attendant

We are looking for a couple or 2 friends for the positions: chef/kitchen helper and breakfast attendant to join our team at BERG restaurant, located on Hótel Vík in Mýrdal. The positions offered are full-time and long-term. A private room is provided for a fee in shared accommodation (kitchen and bathroom) within walking distance of the work.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Chef's main task: prepare and cook various delicious dishes a la carte and a group menu.
Maintain the cleaning, kitchen hygiene, and safety standards.
Responsible for deliveries and stock rotations at their designated station.
Ensuring food quality and taste at the highest standard
Breakfast attendant task: breakfast set up, assisting guests with any breakfast-related needs, maintaining all service and eating areas clean, food preparation, vacuuming, mopping floors, food restocking, cleaning the kitchen, and keeping dish area organized
