Technical Documentation & Drawings Lead
ON Power is looking for someone to take ownership of the drawings and technical documentation for its power plants — including Hellisheiði, the largest geothermal plant in Europe.
Accurate information is the foundation for safe decision-making in the operation, maintenance and development of our power plants.
In this role, you ensure that drawings and technical data for ON Power's plants are accurate, up to date and accessible — shaping workflows that directly affect operational reliability and future development.
The role is varied, covering both day-to-day oversight and longer-term development: system, building, mechanical and electrical drawings, equipment data sheets and key technical information.
It includes responsibility for the drawing database and equipment documentation, drawing and design work tied to equipment and system modifications, and participation in workflow improvements with an emphasis on data quality and traceability.
The position sits within Technology Development, a department working on development and investment projects, preliminary design and improvements that shape the future of ON Power's plants.
- Experience working with drawings in an industrial environment
- Good understanding of data structure, database work, registration, version control and traceability of technical data
- Strong computer skills and experience with drawing software and/or technical information systems
- Good communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Initiative, accuracy and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Education relevant to the role: technical drawing, mechanical engineering, engineering technology or related fields
Applications must include a CV and cover letter addressing the qualification requirements above.
