Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to support the development of mission-critical Air Traffic Control systems. You will work in a collaborative team environment, solving complex technical problems while ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of safety, usability and reliability.

As an ideal candidate

  • You have professional experience in frontend and/or backend software development and a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
  • You approach complex problems with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset and are comfortable working in safety-critical environments where quality and reliability are paramount.
  • You are self-motivated and collaborative, you value knowledge sharing, and you actively contribute to continuous improvement — both in code and in development processes.
  • You are able to translate technical concepts into clear outcomes and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, high-quality systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain safety-critical software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver features
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Review code and contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices
  • Test, debug, and improve software throughout the development lifecycle
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement of production systems
  • Assist with writing operational and technical documentation

Professional Requirements

  • University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience with modern C++ and Qt
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
  • English language proficiency, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in software development is preferred
  • A background in the ATM/ATC domain is a plus
  • Solid problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently
  • A user-centric approach combined with the ability and willingness to learn
