Aviör employees play a critical role in keeping passengers and aircrafts moving safely and on time. As a member of our team, your responsibilities could include:

• Conduct secondary security screening of passengers​
• Investigating suspicious behaviour, incidents, and security breaches​
• Access control to airplane and security areas ​
• Adhering to the company’s policies and legal regulations​
• ​Responsible for carrying out all guarding duties to a high standard, and in accordance with the companies’ procedures

Experience and Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English
• Punctuality, efficiency, and the ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Team player
• Applicants must be at least 20 years old.

AVIÖR is a division at Öryggismiðstöðin which focuses on aviation security services for airlines and airports and handle covid testing at the Icelandic border.

• Training employees and standardize our service
• Regular customer service surveys
• Own internal routines to evaluate our services
• Regularly reviewing and updating procedures to improve speed, accuracy, and passenger experience
