Scheduling Analyst

Network Planning & Scheduling is responsible for the development of the Icelandair route network as well as maintaining the flight schedule and seat capacity for the company’s international and domestic networks.

Our team is comprised of a group of specialists performing network development analyses, with the aim to support the airline’s On-Time-Performance and maximize the utilization and profitability of the Icelandair fleet.

We ensure the timely publication of Icelandair’s flight schedule in our distribution and flight information systems and make sure all stakeholders are informed of any schedule changes up until seven days before departure.

The Scheduling Analyst will be responsible for the planning and publication of the Icelandair schedule in close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as revenue management, technical operations and Icelandair subsidiaries.

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical capabilities and a proactive mindset.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Active participation in department teamwork relating to the successful development of the Icelandair network

Supervision and publication of the Icelandair schedule in flight information systems, booking engines and distribution systems

Coordination of flight schedule and aircraft maintenance, both short- and long-term

Schedule management for Icelandair subsidiaries: VITA, Loftleiðir and Icelandair Cargo

Supervision, testing and production management of partner-operated flights (codeshare)

Aircraft assignment to Icelandair routes

Applications and revisions of airport slots at Icelandair destinations

Supporting system implementations and development/documentation of new and/or updated processes

Other ad hoc projects
