About the Role
As Managing Director and SVP, you will lead COWI Iceland (formerly Mannvit)’s team of 250 experts and collaborate with 8,000 specialists worldwide. Together, we co-create sustainable solutions, transforming challenges into opportunities in geothermal energy, hydropower, and beyond. You will drive the execution of our LEAP transformation and Future-Now strategy to foster business growth, innovation, and excellence.
You will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Business Line International and be a part of the leadership team for COWI International, playing a key role in shaping the strategic direction and success of our business globally.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead COWI Iceland and role model according to COWI's leadership behaviors and values, ensuring performance aligns with group strategies and values.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and operational goals.
- Provide input and proposals for the company's strategy, policies, and business plans to the Board of Directors and EVP Business Line International
- Actively participate in the management of COWI Group's business through participation in relevant decision forums of the COWI Group, as required from time to time by the COWI Group/EVP of Business Line International.
- Act as an ambassador for COWI, building strong customer relationships.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and execution excellence.
- Ensure business practices adhere to COWI’s integrity and sustainability standards.
