That's not just a nice line. It shapes how we work. We're always there, with real local knowledge behind every recommendation. We know trust has to be earned, not assumed — so we work for it, with every customer, every time. And we believe the detail is the difference: the small, personal touches that turn a trip into a story worth telling. We started in Reykjavík in 2002. Since then, we've grown to around 100 people, most of us still here in Iceland, with smaller teams in Sweden, Scotland, Germany and Italy. Our Reykjavík office is spacious and easy to work in — and yes, lunch, snacks and drinks are on us. We work hard to keep things open and supportive here, not just say we do. Our staff seem to agree: Nordic Visitor has picked up "Company of the Year" (Fyrirtæki/fyrirmyndarfyrirtæki ársins) at the VR awards more than once since 2015.
