Job Opportunity in South Iceland – Free Accommodation
Position at Maddis
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented and independent person to join our small and friendly team in South Iceland. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys nature, a calm countryside lifestyle and working closely with the owners in a family-run business.
🧹 Main duties:
Cleaning and preparing 8 guesthouses
Laundry and general housekeeping
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
Working closely with the company owners
📍 Location:
The job is located about 7 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur, in a beautiful and peaceful rural area surrounded by nature.
🌿 Extra opportunity:
We are also involved in farming, with sheep and goats on the farm. If you are interested, there is a possibility to take part in the lambing season in May and experience Icelandic farm life.

Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Good English skills (required)
Driving licence and ability to drive manual vehicles
Positive attitude and good communication skills
