Head of Minibus Tours

Role summary
We’re looking for a Head of Minibus Tours to run Troll’s day tours and multi-day tours as a business unit. You’ll own the P&L, the product, the driver guides, and the hard tradeoffs that come with running tours in Iceland. You will work closely with the core leadership team.

As Head of MInibus Tours, you act immediately if any issues that arise during an ongoing tour. Prompt communication with customer service is essential for necessary support and efficient incident resolutions.

This is a process-heavy role that sits at the intersection of logistics, hospitality, and commercial reality. If you like making real decisions with real consequences, you’ll feel at home.

What you’ll own

• P&L responsibility for all minibus tours

• Tour design, itineraries, training standards and operational procedures

• Tour Execution: From driver-guide scheduling, pickup process, condition monitoring and incident management

• Buying activities, accommodation, and fleet capacity

• Margin optimization without sacrificing safety and the travel experience

What success looks like

• Strong operating margins per tour

• High seat utilization

• Clear visibility into tour-level quality metrics

• Guests who had a great time and a business that makes sense
