Financial Manager

We are looking for a Financial Manager to join our Administration division to manage Tern Systems’ and its subsidiaries' everyday financial activities, advise and guide management on financial planning in tune with our company objectives, and attend to record keeping, data analysis, and reporting duties.

As an ideal candidate, you have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines on the dot. You have a keen eye for detail and you are highly accurate at your work. You have an analytical mindset, and you have good communication skills - these assets help you be successful in providing cross-divisional support.

Responsibilities

Generate financial data, compile and submit reports, prepare budget and cashflow projections, and assess the financial health of the company
Assess financial risks, analyse revenue costs, pricing, sales results and the company’s performance compared to business plans
Oversee salary processing, financial transactions and bookkeeping-related activities
Support projects and tender work by preparing bid bonds and other financial documentation

Professional Requirements

A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent education
3 years of professional experience in Financial Management

Preferred Skills

Proficiency with financial modelling and finance software
A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
A working knowledge of Icelandic statutory legislation and regulations
Fluency in English
