We are a 150-room hotel located just 10 minutes outside Vík, in South Iceland.

We are looking for individuals or couples with solid housekeeping experience who share our values of teamwork, respect, and creating a positive work environment—so our guests can enjoy the best possible stay.

About the Role
This is a hands-on role combining housekeeping and breakfast service.

Your main responsibilities include:

Cleaning guest rooms and maintaining high standards of presentation
Preparing rooms efficiently within daily timeframes
Supporting breakfast service when required
Contributing to general hotel operations as needed

Requirements

Minimum 6–8 months (one full season) of experience in hotel housekeeping is required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and responsibility for daily tasks
Team-oriented mindset
Good level of English (working language of the hotel)

Shifts

7–9 hours per day, depending on the schedule
Rotation between housekeeping and breakfast/housekeeping shifts

Contract & Availability

Seasonal position starting as agreed
Preference for candidates available for the full season, but shorter periods can be considered

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas on a daily basis
Maintain housekeeping standards and room presentation
Support breakfast service, including setup and cleaning of the breakfast area
Assist with laundry operations as required
Support general hotel tasks (e.g. dishwashing, outdoor cleaning, basic upkeep)

Qualifications:
