Experience Manager/Host at Tindasel
We are looking for a Host as we move into opening and early operational phase. This is on-site full time role, Tindasel is located about 1,5 hours from Reykjavik.
Tindasel is a boutique luxury hotel. The host is not only a receptionist but an experience curator. Attention to detail, emotional intelligence and proactive service are key expectations.The host is responsible for looking after our guests that are staying at our Tindasel in South Iceland. They will take care of them from the moment they check-in until they check-out, making sure that their special requests are fulfilled. In the beginning this person needs to be flexible on working hours and days while the hotel is opening up from 15th of June.
The host needs to have good communication skills and previous experience in the hospitality industry. Working well independently as well as in a team.

Welcome guests personally upon arrival

Offer welcome drink and brief property orientation

Ensure smooth check-in and check-out process

Act as main point of contact during the stay

Handle guest requests quickly and proactively

Coordinate with kitchen regarding dinner times, dietary needs, and special occasions

Ensure VIP touches (anniversaries, birthdays, upgrades)

Collect and monitor guest feedback

Daily Breakfast set-up

Help with Dinner & Bar services

Maintain overall presentation standards in all guest-facing areas

Report maintenance issues immediately

Ensure cleanliness of common areas throughout the shift
