Matborðið is looking for a chef/cook

Matborðið is a trusted and well-established company specializing in the preparation of lunch meals for businesses and institutions. All food is prepared on-site and delivered fresh daily.

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced chef to join our excellent team. This is a full-time position with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a chef is required
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Applicants with Icelandic, English or Polish language skills are higlhy encouraged to apply

Main responsibilities:

• General cooking and food preparation
• Assisting with menu planning in collaboration with the team
