Barista/cashier Lava café in Hvolsvöllur - start mid of November

For our new café located in Hvolsvöllur, we are looking for new colleague.
We are looking for somebody who would like to stay with us for longer term and is reliable, punctual and has eye for detail.

We are trying to build team full of positive and friendly people that like to help each other so on that note would be great to have another team player.

We are working long short week (system 2-2-3) and our shifts would be usually from 7:00 til 19:00 o clock in café in summer time but in winter time we are planning on working 2 long shifts, 2 short shifts, 2 days off.

The main tasks that you will need to be able to do in café are:
- preparing sandwiches, pastries, smoothies 🥯🥐🍌
- serving customers over the counter 😊
- making coffees and other hot drinks ☕️🫖
- doing the deliveries, washing the dishes, tables 🍽
- mantaining the restaurant and kitchen clean
- refilling products as needed 🧃🥤

Experience in gastronomy or coffee preparation is welcomed.

We provide meals for free while you are in work.
Acommodation provided in walking distance for a tarif month fee. Shared kitchen and bathroom with colleagues - private room!
