Academy Coordinator
LS Retail has an exciting opportunity of Academy Coordinator with the LS Retail Academy team. LS Academy are responsible for training material for LS Retail partners, customers and employees. Our courses and certifications allow our partners and customers to gain expertise in LS Retail products. This position focuses on creating e-Learning courses and collaborating with the eLearning Manager to elevate our product training. It’s a great chance for someone looking to enhance their skills in e-Learning development and curriculum design.

- Assist the e-Learning Manager with course design, including developing structure and content
- Collaborate with product owners and subject matter experts to create informative and dynamic content
- Implement interactive tools to enhance course engagement and accessibility
- Create infographics, animations, and edit videos
- Update and revise training content regularly
- Support testing, subtitles, and proofreading efforts
- Serve as the point of contact for general inquiries regarding the Academy
- Assist customers with questions and issues related to courses
- Create training orders and support live sessions
- Maintain an organized and up-to-date Learning Management System (LMS)
- Maintain staff accounts in the LMS and serve as a contact for related questions or issues
- Coordinate staff training within the LMS, including partnering with HR to create an onboarding structure for new hires and managing course assignments in the system.
- Assist with reports on staff progress
- Educate staff and managers on using the learning system and communicate updates regarding new courses or features
- Perform other Academy operational tasks as needed
Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Two or more years of relevant experience in training, course development, or supporting an L&D team preferred
- Experience in creating training materials using various tools and platforms
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-Learning course development tools (preferably Docebo and Articulate 360)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is a plus
- Strong grasp of educational design principles, and enthusiastic about staying current with industry trends.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High proficiency in prioritizing tasks and managing projects.
- Ability to adapt content for diverse audiences is important an experience in translating technical concepts into accessible training material is a plus
