The Reykjavik EDITION has an impressive line-up of restaurants and bars. Among these is the hotel’s signature restaurant Tides, a Rooftop destination with scenic views, a vibrant lobby lounge, an intimate cocktail bar, Tides bakery and café and a first-of-its-kind social spa.

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Spa Receptionist, you are the first point of contact in the Spa and provide a warm welcome to all guests. You are responsible for scheduling spa treatments for individuals and large groups using spa reservations software system, calling guests to confirm appointments and answer questions about available services. You manage the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of last-minute changes, and assist in resolving scheduling issues as needed. You check in guests and provide a general orientation at arrival. You promote and sell spa services and retail products. Process guest payments for spa services and obtain payment authorization as needed. Accept and log cash tips for employees.

You are ready to bring positive energy to the team and delight guests with a people-pleasing mindset. This position requires excellent guest service and communication skills, as well as organizational skills.
