Exeter Hotel is looking for a positive, enthusiastic, and service-oriented Breakfast Host/Hostess, starting 1.07.2025.

according to the quality and brand standards of the hotel. The goal is to provide the perfect first impression of the hotel and deliver exemplary service to all hotel guests.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Reception Duties: Greet all guests warmly and promptly as they arrive for breakfast. Ensure a welcoming and efficient check-in process according to the hotel's quality and service standards.

• Guest Seating: Assist guests in finding their seats and managing the seating, ensuring they are seated at an appropriate table and groups are seated together.

• Service Excellence: Deliver exemplary service, attending to guest needs and preferences, and ensuring a pleasant breakfast experience.

• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the breakfast and front desk staff to ensure smooth operations.

• Environment Maintenance: Ensure the breakfast area is clean and well-organized throughout service hours.

Qualifications

• Excellent level of English speaking. Icelandic is an advantage.

The position is ideal for college/university students seeking part-time work. Strong candidates can progress to Front Desk duties and be considered as backup employees for the hotel's Front Desk. Shifts are 4 hours a day from 06:30 - 10:30.
