ARE YOU ELEVEN?
Eleven Experience in Iceland is now seeking a chef at Deplar Farm. Eleven Experience is an international travel company that strives to provide unique and personalized services to its customers. Eleven offers world-class luxury accommodation and organizes unforgettable adventure trips and experiences tailored to individual's wishes.
This is an exciting and demanding job with great potential and opportunities for the right person. Candidates should have a keen eye for details and should be willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Strong communication skills to work with sous chef and chefs to ensure production and service going smooth
- Executing morning or evening service depending of position.
- Be flexible and able to change work flow depend of guests needs.
- Keep kitchen and all storages clean and organize.
- Work with the Lodge Managers and Experience Managers to ensure servers are providing top notch Eleven food service.
Qualifications
- Good knife skills
- Be able to do basic dishes without provide recipe
- Having good understanding of cleanliness and haccap standards
- Be able to learn and follow the menus provided by Executive Chef or Sous chef
- Have a open mindset on learning new skills and being guided to improve productivity
- Be a flexible team player.
Preferences
- Culinary degree is a plus
- Three years of experience
- Focused on guest desires and not only chef vision
- Strong writing skills
- Driving license
- Well spoken
- Willing to work seasonally
- High ethical standards
- Enjoys an outdoor lifestyle
