Quality Control Sampling Associate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Incoming Raw Materials Sampling and Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Alvotech in Reykjavik, Iceland. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of raw materials used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including manual labor involving the lifting of boxes ranging from 10-25kg, along with other essential quality control activities.

  • A sampling of raw materials used in manufacturing.
  • Support raw materials testing.
  • Performing an inspection of incoming materials and goods.
  • Familiarity with a limited number of analytical techniques used for raw materials testing.
  • Be aware of the range of analytical and compendia methods used to support raw materials testing.
  • Performing routine cleaning, verification, and upkeep of laboratory and equipment
  • Performing stock checks.

  • Education: High School.

  • Communication skills: Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Linguistic skills:  Fluent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy:  Proficient in the use of a PC and common Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
  • Please note that this role includes manual labor tasks, which may involve lifting boxes ranging from 10-25kg. We are looking for candidates who can perform these physical duties as an integral part of the position.
