Exeterhouse ehf. is looking for a positive, reliable, and service-oriented Breakfast Attendant, starting as soon as possible.

The role focuses on preparing and maintaining the breakfast service according to the hotel’s quality and brand standards. The goal is to ensure guests enjoy a fresh, well-presented breakfast and a welcoming atmosphere every morning.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Breakfast Preparation:
Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, ensuring all food items are fresh, well-presented, and replenished throughout service.

Service & Guest Care:
Monitor the breakfast area and assist guests as needed, ensuring a pleasant and smooth experience.

Cleaning & Organization:
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and breakfast area at all times, including clearing tables, washing dishes, and keeping all stations tidy and organized.

Stock & Refill:
Ensure food, beverages, and supplies are consistently restocked during service hours.

Team Communication:
Work closely with kitchen and front desk staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Good level of English (Icelandic is an advantage)
• Experience in kitchen or service work is a plus
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Positive attitude and problem-solving skills
• Punctuality and reliability
• Icelandic ID (kennitala) is required
