Exeterhouse ehf. is looking for a positive, enthusiastic and service oriented Front Desk Agent for night shifts. Starting as soon as possible.

Main responsibilities are reception duties according to quality and brand standards of the hotel. The goal is to provide the perfect first impression of the hotel and deliever exemplary service to all guests of the hotel.

Tasks and Responsibilites

• Checking in and out hotel guests and maintaining accurate overview of the house status at all times
• Nigth Audit and Settlement Report
• Invoicing and charges
• Delivering examplary service to hotel guests
• Communication with guests before, during and after their stay
• Booking tours and activites
• Coordinate effectively with housekeeping team
• Communicate with management
• Responding to service requests
• Contributing effectively to Front Office and Sales goals

Qualifications

• Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Previous hotel night shift experience is an advantage.

• Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant computer systems.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.

• Personal Attributes:

  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions during the night shift while working alone.

  • High level of professionalism and reliability.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as per schedule.

• Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with GODO property management software (PMS) is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial procedures related to night audit tasks.
  • Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures for handling various situations during the night shift.

• Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to able to provide references.
  • Availability for training during day shifts initially.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, particularly in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests.
