Marketing Specialist

Borealis Data Center is seeking a Marketing Specialist to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth. The person will be reporting directly to the CCO and will be responsible with the Director of Sales, for the development of campaigns, content, and events that showcase our expertise in data center solutions and promote our value proposition to key stakeholders.

  • Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive marketing calendar in cooperation with Borealis Data Centers commercial team, aligning activities with company goals and ensuring timely and effective campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing initiatives and maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, suggesting improvements to optimize reach and engagement.
  • Develop compelling content (e.g. whitepapers, case studies, blogs, social media posts) that showcases our thought leadership and expertise in data center solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to create targeted campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Plan and execute events (e.g. webinars, trade shows, customer summits) that generate leads and engage prospects and customers.
  • Manage the company's digital presence in collaboration with internal teams and partners, including website, social media (e.g., LinkedIn), email marketing campaigns, PPT decks, product information sheets etc.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Manage budget and ensure that resources are allocated effectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data center solutions and incorporate them into marketing strategies as appropriate.

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • A firm understanding of B2B marketing principles and techniques, including digital marketing and lead generation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Experience in planning and managing events, including logistics, promotion, and follow-up.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional parties.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot), and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads).
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and PPC advertising is a plus.
  • Experience in working with advertising agencies.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong understanding of brand management with a proven ability to maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity through strategic marketing efforts.
