Looking for coaches

The Iceland Cheer Team, led by the head coach of The Dance Space Reykjavik, is looking for a dedicated coaches to join our team this season. This is a part-time position starting September 2025 (or the middle of August), to cover maternity leave, with the opportunity to stay on for the full season.

DANCE & ACRO COACH

We’re looking for someone with experience in:

✔ Dance (jazz, performance cheer)

✔ Acrobatics or gymnastics basics

✔ Strong focus on performance, flexibility, and technique

✔ Enjoys working with children and teens (ages 6–15)

STUNTS COACH

We’re looking for someone with a background in:

✔ Cheerleading stunts

✔ Teaching safe technique, timing & transitions

✔ Building trust and teamwork

✔ Experience with youth ages 6–15

Start Date: September 2025 (or the middle of August)

Part-time roles - with the opportunity to stay for the full season

Language skills – good English is required; Icelandic and other languages are an advantage but not required.
