The employee will be working as a member of Aviör who has workstations at Keflavík Airport and the port in Reykjavík.
Aviör employees play a critical role in keeping passengers, cruise ships and aircrafts moving safely and on time.
The job is in the field of Manned Solutions, which provides a wide range of security guard services, including on-call services, valuables transportation and general security for the Security Center's customers. This is a job in a close-knit, reliable and ambitious workplace.
- Access control to airplane and security areas
- Access control at the harbor, ensuring safety within the area
- Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and/or on passengers
- Port security for cruise ships
- Adhering to the company’s policies and legal regulations
- Responsible for carrying out all guarding duties to a high standard, and in accordance with the companies’ procedures
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward passengers at all times
- General security services and other related duties for the company
- 20 year age limit
- Clean criminal record
- Good command of English (speaking and writing)
- Rich customer service and positivity
- Excellent communication skills and team-work
- Ability to work under pressure
- Assist customers in solving security-related projects
- Independent and disciplined work style
- Driver’s license
- General computer skills are an advantage
