Housekeeping Manager - Hótel Katla

Hótel Katla is seeking to hire Houskeeping Manager to join our team in Vík in South Iceland.

The role involves overseeing the daily cleaning operations, both in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing the daily operations of the laundry facility.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð

Ensure our guests receive immaculately clean housekeeping/maintenance experience on a daily basis
Responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the room department
Organize daily cleaning, big cleaning, organize inventory and have a high-quality standard
Follow health and safety rules that apply

Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur

Have experience in housekeeping
Have excellent ability to organize and communicate
Experience of ordering and stock control
Initiative, leadership skills, independence in work and be able to encourage
Be able to work on weekends and holidays, when needed
Exceptional Icelandic and English is required. Third language is beneficial
