EHS Specialist | Össur

Össur’s Quality & EHS Excellence team is looking for an EHS Specialist to support the Environmental, Health & Safety management system in Reykjavík.
The position involves analyzing EHS data, supporting audits and compliance activities, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Quality, and other functions, with the opportunity to help develop and lead the Environmental Management System within the company.
Using a Lean and data-driven mindset, the EHS Specialist will help strengthen our EHS culture, improve performance, and contribute to Össur’s sustainability and safety objectives.

Support and enhance the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management system at Össur Reykjavík, focusing primarily on environmental management.

Contribute actively to safety programs and occupational health initiatives to ensure a safer workplace.

Assist with compliance activities, risk prevention, and continuous improvement of EHS performance through data analysis.

Coordinate EHS system functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory, to align with Össur's global standards and EHS Strategy Plan.

Promote a preventive, data-driven EHS culture across the site to strengthen sustainability and safety objectives.

University degree in applicable subjects.

Experience in data analysis, health or safety, Excel, PBI, or similar software is an advantage.
