CHEF at Eyja Vínstofa & Bistro

• Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s standards
• Assist with the daily operation, organization, and workflow of the kitchen
• Carry out food preparation (prep), cleaning, and end-of-shift kitchen duties
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food products in compliance with food safety regulations
• Contribute to the creation, development, and improvement of menus in collaboration with the Head Chef/management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment at all times
• Work closely with the team at Eyja to ensure high-quality food and service standards are consistently met

• Previous professional cooking experience is required
• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• A team player with a commitment to quality and excellent guest experiences
