Barista - Part Time in Hella
Part Time Barista – American School Bus Café
We’re looking for a part-time barista to join our school bus café in Hella. Ideally, you live nearby (Hella, Hvolsvöllur, or Selfoss). We don't offer accommodation, so please only apply if you live in the area.
You’ll be working alongside our full time barista, covering morning or evening shifts. Overtime will often be available, and for the right person, this role could turn into a full-time position. The start date is mid-September, and we’re looking for someone who wants a long term job with us.
What we’re looking for

Good English skills (Icelandic is a plus, but not required)

Strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude

Ability to handle a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

Experience in restaurants or coffee shops is highly valued

Prepare and serve coffee and hot drinks behind the counter

Restock from our warehouse and bring supplies to the bus

Keep the bus clean and tidy
Barista experience is helpful, but not required, we’re happy to train you if you’re eager to learn
Flexible schedule, you can swap shifts with the other barista if needed
