Námskeiðið Íslenska 1 vaktavinna er sérsniðið fyrir þig sem ert byrjandi í íslensku.* Á námskeiðinu er lögð áhersla á að byggja upp grunnorðaforða daglegs máls, bæði í skilningi og tali, með fjölbreyttum og hagnýtum aðferðum.
Námsefnið Íslenska fyrir alla 1 er notað auk aukaefnis og rafrænna stoða af ýmsu tagi.

Icelandic 1 shift work (A1.1)
In this course, you will take your first confident steps in learning Icelandic.
You will gain a solid foundation in the language and build the confidence to continue learning. We place emphasis on developing a basic vocabulary, comprehension and speaking skills that are useful in everyday life.
Taught online on rotating days that suit the 2-2-3 shift pattern.

About the course
The Icelandic 1 for shift workers course is specially designed for you if you are a beginner in Icelandic.* The course focuses on building a basic vocabulary for everyday language, in both comprehension and speech, using a variety of practical methods.
Distance learning requires greater independence from students. The course is partly online with a tutor and partly self-study with the tutor's support.
Icelandic 1 is a beginner's course at level A1.1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The course uses a variety of teaching materials and active student participation to ensure effective and enjoyable learning of Icelandic. The course is for students aged 18 and over who want to learn Icelandic. English is used as a lingua franca in teaching. All course materials are digital.
The coursebook 'Icelandic for All 1' is used, along with supplementary materials and various digital resources.
