Prepares and bakes high-volume of bakery product according to Costco’s specifications while ensuring proper department procedures regarding hygiene and safety are being respected.

- Assembles, measures and combines large quantities of ingredients according to Costco’s formulas. Uses power equipment to mix and prepare bakery product, such as dough roller, muffin depositor and crust machine. Operates power mixer to prepare batter, frosting and filling for baked goods. Rolls, cuts and shapes dough for breads and pastry. Bakes product in large ovens, monitors ovens and removes baked product to cooling racks at appropriate times. Feeds dough into automated donut machine. Produces, dates and stores ingredients and products for next day use. Monitors sanitation, temperatures, pull dates and complies with health code. Follows safety and security procedures. Follows department’s production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of finished product. Provides and maintains a remarkable member service.
