Head Waiter / Food & Beverage Service Team Lead
We’re seeking an experienced and passionate individual to lead our service team. The ideal candidate has a background in restaurant dinner service, groups and events, and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role, working closely alongside the team to ensure consistency and quality in every guest interaction. You are a team player, committed to creating a seamless, holistic experience across the hotel.
Requirements & Qualities:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within F&B service

Confident with dinner service, group coordination, and organizing events

Interest and knowledge in wine, coffee, and bar service

A trainer and motivator, upholding standards and sharing knowledge

Collaborative spirit ready to work as part of one unified hotel team
About the Hotel
Opening October 2025, Black Sand Hotel is a new premium property on Iceland’s south coast. Our concept is rooted in the raw, elemental beauty of the surrounding landscape, offering guests a refined yet grounded experience inspired by Icelandic nature and hospitality.
