VP of Finance
Your role in helping us achieve our mission
As the Vice President of Finance, you will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization in collaboration with the CFO. Your exceptional financial acumen and business expertise will guide our decision-making, foster financial excellence, and drive sustainable growth. In collaboration with the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide effective leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and nurture top finance talent, ensuring a strong and agile finance organization.
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives, driving long-term profitability and sustainable growth.
- Collaborate with the executive team to set financial targets and contribute to overall business planning.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Ensure proper financial analysis is performed to provide key insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Ensure regular financial reporting cycles to present comprehensive financial reports, including monthly business reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Financial Operations and Systems:
- Lead financial operations, including accounting, billing, collections, and cash flow management, ensuring efficient and accurate financial processes.
- Evaluate and implement financial systems and technologies to optimize financial management and reporting.
Capital Allocation and Investment Decisions:
- Collaborate with the executive team to assess investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions to support strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate and recommend potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Oversee risk management strategies, identifying potential financial risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.

Must haves
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or public accountant certification is preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in a senior finance leadership role, ideally in a global scale-up.

- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management best practices.
- Strategic Vision and Execution:
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
