The Role

As a Travel Designer, you will be at the forefront of creating bespoke travel experiences for our clients. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of luxury travel trends. You will work with a team of professionals to design and execute seamless, personalized travel itineraries that exceed client expectations.

Sales and Planning of Private Tours. This includes research and communication with suppliers and agents alike, price calculations, and the creation of detailed travel itineraries. Following up with clients and flexibility to update trips at the last minute, handle special requests, changes, upgrades, etc.

Other Administrative and Practical Tasks. Assisting managers and senior staff with marketing activities, ranging from creating newsletters and brochures to launching social media campaigns. Participating in site inspections, FAM trips, and making sales calls.

Skills:

  • Strong sales skills.
  • Strong understanding of FIT (Free Independent Traveler) and/or MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). 
  • Strong knowledge of luxury hotels, destinations, and high-end travel services.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Higher education or work experience in one of the following fields: tourism, marketing, or sales.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent ability to engage customers, upsell, and positively influence business relationships.
  • Positive demeanor and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, managers, senior staff, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with guidance from a manager or supervisors.
  • Strong organizational skills needed to maintain updated and accurate client records and communications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, along with initiative, resourcefulness, flexibility, and creativity.
  • Good general computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
