Travel Coordinator

Alvotech is looking for a Travel Coordinator to join the Service Team in Alvotech in Reykjavik Iceland. The position is temporary for 11 months.

Travel Coordinator arranges business travel for Alvotech employees, visitors and expats relocating to Iceland. Alvotech has offices in Reykjavik, Germany, Switzerland, USA, UK and Bangalore India.

Helstu verkefni og ábyrgð
  • Books flights, ground travel and accommodation according to Alvotech Travel Policy.
  • Researches and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available option for each travel need.
  • Identifies the most cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements.
  • Prepares travel itineraries and distributes travel arrangements and schedules to all appropriate staff.
  • Advises travellers of and assists with any need for specialized travel documents such as visas or passports.
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Resolve any issues or emergencies that might come up before, during or after the trip
  • Adhere to company policies, travel regulations, and legal requirements.
Menntunar- og hæfniskröfur
  • Experience from a similar role and a strong working knowledge of the travel industry.
  • Experience in working with Amadeus and other travel booking systems.
  • Previous training and experience with Concur Business travel solution or similar business travel software is preferred.
  • Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to assess multiple options and to identify the best choice to serve a specified goal.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Good English skills is a requirement.
