Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to prototype new products and implement developmental change projects
  • Support manufacturing change projects by assisting in the installation of new equipment and conducting simple design verifications
  • Assist in the development and testing of prototypes, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards
  • Participate in managing change projects for updated processes and upscaling of manufacturing areas
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve product design and functionality
  • Help create documentation - including technical drawings, specifications, and reports - to communicate project progress and findings
  • Support cross-functional teams in various tasks related to product development and manufacturing improvement initiatives
Educational and skill requirements
  • Technical degree, industry degree with training or B.Sc or a Certified Engineering degree in process engineering, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Degree in product design or process design
  • Strong interest in product development, prototyping, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to perform simple design verifications and assist in the installation of new equipment
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools is desirable
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
